How to Hang a Peel and Stick Wall Mural

Wall murals have become a top choice for homeowners, renters, and designers looking to transform a space instantly—without tools or mess. At Zeeko, we offer peel-and-stick wall murals designed with AirLiftGO™ technology for easy, damage-free application.

🧰 What You’ll Need

  • Zeeko mural panels (pre-cut and labeled)
  • Measuring tape & pencil
  • A clean cloth or sponge
  • Plastic squeegee or old credit card
  • Step ladder (if needed)
  • Level (optional)

🧽 Step 1: Prepare Your Wall

Clean the wall surface with a damp cloth to remove dust, grease, or bumps. Let it dry completely.

⚠️ Note: Avoid applying to freshly painted walls. Wait 3 weeks for paint to cure.

📏 Step 2: Measure and Mark

Use a pencil to lightly mark where your first panel should start. This helps ensure perfect alignment, especially with large designs.

📌 Step 3: Apply the First Panel

  1. Peel the top 6–12 inches of the backing paper.
  2. Align the top edge of the mural with your marks.
  3. Press and smooth downward as you go using a squeegee.

✅ Tip: Zeeko’s AirLiftGO™ makes repositioning easy and bubble-free.

➕ Step 4: Align the Next Panels

Match the pattern and continue panel by panel. Peel, align, and smooth carefully to avoid wrinkles and air pockets.

✂️ Step 5: Final Smoothing & Trimming

Use a utility knife to trim any excess. Firmly press seams for a polished finish. Step back and enjoy the transformation!

💡 Pro Tips

  • Ideal room temperature: 15°C–30°C (60°F–86°F)
  • Best on smooth, painted drywall
  • Test a sample first on textured walls
